| BASIC
MANNERS COURSE The focus of this class is on practical training and problem
solving.
Basic manners are taught including: *Greeting visitors nicely (rather than jumping up) *Greeting other dogs
calmly on leash *Increasing attention focus *Come when called *Walk on a loose leash *Go to your mat *Sit and lie down *Sit
and drop stay *Stand to be examined (groomed) *Heel past another dog *Basic Tricks *Confidence course (tunnels, bridges, hurdles
etc.) *Problem solving(barking, chewing, digging etc.)

1 hour private
lesson followed by 6 X 45 minute group classes
(maximum 10 dogs per

| AGILITY
RACING A class for active dogs and their humans! Agility racing is similiar to horse show jumping. The dog learns to negotiate
a series of obstacles within minimum time. Agility training encourages teamwork between dog and handler. Planet K9 offers
agility classes for both beginners and advanced dogs.
Course Duration: 6 X 45 minute classes

| K9 ALLSPORTS An action packed class designed for the 'all - rounder'.
The class includes: *obedience *flyball ( a team sport for dogs who love to run, jump and chase balls) *agility and *tricks.

| BEHAVIOUR MODIFICATION Planet K9's secure training facilities enable
our trainers to work with anxious and or aggressive dogs in a safe and controlled environment. Nicole Beasley has 12 years experience using a gentle and effective training method to deal with
a broad range of behavioural problems in dogs. She has a particular interest in rescued and rehomed dogs and has been based
at The Lost Dogs' Home in North Melbourne for the past 6 years. Nicole often works in co-operation with the client's
council and veterinarian. We look forward to working with you to improve your dog's behaviour

| A monthly social event for small, friendly dogs under 10Kg.
Play is so important for the social development of dogs. Small Paws playgroup enables small dogs to play with other small
dogs in a safe and friendly environment.
Cost: Donation to The Lost Dogs' Home to support post adoption
training
What to bring: your dog, toys and a
coffee mug for the human!
Dogs must complete a Planet K9 training course before joining the small paws gang.
Time:1st Sunday of each month 4:00 - 5:00 pm

FORTNIGHTLY SMALL PAWS PLAYGROUP (maximum 20 dogs)
A social playgroup for dogs under 10Kg. Use of agility equipment, coffee and tea
included. Nicole will be on hand to answer any dog behavioural questions. Crazy Comet (silky terrier mix) and his deputy
Astro will lead the group in play
Where: The Lost Dogs' Home, North Melbourne
When: Fortnightly
Sundays at 1:30pm - 2:30pm
Cost: $50 for 5 play sessions (do not need to be taken consecutively)
FORTNIGHTLY MIDI PAWS PLAYGROUP (maximum 20 dogs)
A
playgroup for social dogs between 12 and 16Kg. Use of agility equipment, coffee and tea included. Nicole will be
on hand to answer any dog behavioural questions. A great opportunity to teach your dog to come when called despite
distractions.
Where: The Lost Dogs' Home, North Melbourne
When: Fortnightly Sundays at 1:30pm
- 2:30pm

| | PUPPY PRE-SCHOOL Strictly for puppies aged between 8 - 12 weeks. Our puppy pre-school provides a safe environment
for puppies to socialise with other puppies and to start some basic training. The class focuses on common puppy issues such
as toilet training, play biting and socialisation.
Playschool is held at The Lost Dogs' Home North
Melbourne.
