Planet K9 offers a range of classes and activities to make life with your dog even more joyful.
Our gentle reward - based training method is highly effective and can be embraced by all members of the household. Class sizes are limited to 8 dogs to allow personal attention from your Instructor. Planet K9 runs group classes in Kensington on Saturdays and Spotswood on Sundays. We provide in - home training services throughout Western Melbourne on weekdays and evenings.

We are now taking bookings for courses starting in 2020.Please aim to book 4 weeks ahead of your desired start date to secure your dog's place.
Courses run in 5 week semesters. No classes on public holiday weekends.
Semester 1 starts Sat January 11th and Sunday January 12th
Semester 2 starts Sat February and Sunday February 23rd
Semester 3 starts Sat April 18th and Sunday April 19th
Semester 4 starts Saturday June 13th and Sunday June 14th

Practical training and problem solving to make life with your dog joyful! Teach your dog basic manners in a fun and supportive group.
When you love your dog you want them to be safe off leash. This course will teach you the skills to manage your dog off leash and provide an encouraging group in which to practise.
If you prefer to training one on one we can visit you in your home or local area.
For dogs just starting out in agility. Learn basic skills and obstacles including hurdles, weave poles, tunnel and tyre jump.
In level 2 we work on handling skills including distance work. This is where you and your dog really start to shine as an agility team.
At this level we introduce the A frame, See Saw and Dog Walk. Dogs are running a full obstacle course off leash
The BEST way to start a fun weekend with your dog! Includes barista coffee, lots of laughs and agility games..
Melbourne's coolest little dog gang have been hanging out together for over 10 years. The gang welcome Planet K9 graduates who are social and under 10Kg.
Get ready to rumble in the agility tunnels! Planet K9 holds regular friendly team comps. You can get a team together yourself or we'll add you to an existing team.
