Behaviour Modification Program – 1:1 & Structured Social Training
About the Program:
Our Behaviour Modification Program is a comprehensive, results-focused training program designed to support dogs experiencing more complex behavioural challenges.
This may include reactivity, anxiety, overwhelm, difficulty settling, or behaviours that make everyday life feel stressful for both you and your dog.
This program provides a clear, structured pathway to help your dog feel safer, more confident, and better able to cope in real-world situations.
This is not just a series of sessions. It is a guided process that supports lasting behaviour change for both you and your dog.
Your program includes 5 structured sessions:
• 2 x in-home behavioural consults
• 1 x private training session at our Werribee training space, working with the trainer’s calm, well socialised dogs where appropriate
• 2 x small, carefully managed group sessions with selected dogs, held in Spotswood or YarravilleEach stage is carefully designed to build your dog’s confidence and skills progressively, moving from a familiar home environment through to controlled and real-world situations.
How it works:
We begin with in-home sessions to assess your dog’s behaviour, environment, and triggers, and to put immediate management and training strategies in place.
From there, we introduce structured, controlled exposure in a safe training environment before progressing to small group sessions where your dog can practise around other dogs at a level that feels manageable and safe.
This gradual, supported progression is what allows meaningful and lasting change to occur.
Sessions are typically held during the day, with in-home sessions usually scheduled on weekday mornings. Other times may be arranged where needed.
We aim to complete the program within 10 weeks to maintain consistency and progress.
