Planet K9 in the Community
At Planet K9 we believe the connection between people and dogs can reach far beyond the training field. Our community projects bring dogs and people together to create connection, friendship and joy. From supporting veterans and their dogs to bringing our SupPAWt Squad pet therapy team together with older members of our community for dogs, conversation and morning tea, these programs are a very special part of Planet K9.

Planet K9 SupPAWt Squad
Our SupPAWt Squad Morning Teas bring the Planet K9 pet therapy team together with residents from Wintringham Aged Care for a morning of dogs, conversation, laughter and connection.
Our wonderful team of dogs delight in entertaining the residents, showing off their skills, making new friends and, of course, enjoying plenty of pats and attention along the way.
With morning tea shared around the table and our dogs at the heart of it all, SupPAWt Squad is about creating joyful opportunities for people and dogs to connect, spend time together and simply enjoy each other's company.

Vets & Dogs
Vets & Dogs brings veterans and their dogs together through training, companionship and shared experiences, celebrating the unique bond between people and their dogs.
Through practical dog training, social activities and time spent together, the program creates opportunities for veterans to build skills with their dogs, connect with others and enjoy being part of a welcoming community.
With dogs at the heart of it all, Vets & Dogs is about friendship, connection and the simple joy of doing something you love with your best mate.

Rosie's Hospice of Compassion
Rosie’s Hospice of Compassion Inc. is a home-based micro-sanctuary founded by Planet K9’s Nicole, providing a loving home and lifelong care for animals who are elderly, disabled or living with special needs.
Rosie’s is home to rescued chickens and other birds, along with much-loved senior and special-needs dogs, each cared for as an individual and supported to enjoy the best life possible.
Through our stories and training videos, you can also meet some of Rosie’s rescued chickens and discover just how intelligent, curious, affectionate and individual they are — every bit as capable of learning, loving and forming meaningful relationships as the dogs we share our lives with.
At the heart of Rosie’s is a simple belief: every life matters. Whether an animal needs rehabilitation, ongoing support, palliative care or simply a safe place to grow old, Rosie’s is about providing comfort, dignity, joy and love throughout every stage of life.
