Off-Leash Control Program – 1:1 Training (Werribee)
About the Course:
Our Off-Leash Control Program is a personalised, results-focused training program designed to help your dog respond reliably at a distance, giving you confidence and peace of mind when enjoying off-leash freedom.
This is more than just training sessions. It’s a structured program designed to build advanced skills, strengthen your connection with your dog, and ensure safety in real-world environments.
Your package includes 3 x 60-minute private sessions, designed to progressively build reliability and responsiveness both on and off leash.
How it works:
Your first two sessions take place at our Werribee training space, where we focus on building clarity, control, and reliability in a safe, controlled environment.
Your final session can take place in your home or local area, allowing us to apply these skills in real-world settings such as parks or walking areas. This option is available for clients within a 20 km radius of Werribee. A travel fee applies for locations outside this area.
In-home sessions are available on select days each week.
What we will work on:
• On and off-leash heeling
• Reliable recall with real-world distractions
• Emergency stop
• Extended stays with distance and duration
• Directed jumping and advanced engagement exercises
• Building motivation and responsiveness at a distance
• Understanding and reading your dog’s body language
• Recognising different dog play styles
• Identifying potential safety risks and responding effectively
All training is based on clear, effective, and positive methods to ensure your dog remains engaged, confident, and responsive.

Who this is for:
This program is ideal for dogs who already have a solid foundation in basic manners and are ready to progress to more advanced, off-leash skills.
Dogs must have completed the Planet K9 Basic Manners course before enrolling.
If your dog is showing signs of aggression toward people or other dogs, this program may not be the best fit. Please get in touch so we can guide you toward the most appropriate support.
Additional Information:
• Private training in a safe and welcoming environment
• 3 private sessions (60 minutes each)
• Sessions are to be completed within 6 weeks to ensure consistency and the best possible results
• If you need to reschedule, please provide 24 hours’ notice and we will arrange a make-up session
To get started, simply select your first session time. We will schedule your remaining sessions together during your first lesson.
