About the Course
When you love your dog, you want to ensure they’re safe — especially when enjoying off-leash freedom. This course focuses on teaching your dog to respond reliably to cues from a distance, making off-leash time more enjoyable, confident, and secure.
In this course, you’ll learn how to teach your dog:
On- and off-leash heeling
Reliable recall with distractions
Emergency stop
Extended stays
Directed jumping
With the guidance of an experienced Behavioural Trainer, you will:
Gain an understanding of dog body language
Recognise different dog play styles
Strengthen the bond between you and your dog
Motivate your dog to come when called, even with real-life distractions
Identify potential safety risks and learn how to respond effectively
Prerequisite
Before enrolling, dogs must have completed the Planet K9 Basic Manners or Advanced Manners course.
Course details
Format: 3 × 60-minute private sessions
Venue: Fully fenced, safe, and welcoming training environment
Booking: Choose your start date and time when enrolling. The remaining two sessions will be scheduled at the end of your first session.
